A Canjet Boeing 737-800, registration C-FYQO performing flight C6-761 from Fort Lauderdale,FL (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 193 people on board, was on approach to Toronto when the crew selected flaps 1 but received a flaps fault indication. The crew aborted the approach and entered a holding to work the relevant checklists, then declared emergency and performed a landing on runway at a higher speed than normal with flaps still retracted.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance found an unserviceable connector to the flaps #5 skew sensor, the connector was replaced.
