A Canjet Boeing 737-800, registration C-FYQO performing flight C6-933 from Orlando,FL (USA) to Montreal,QC (Canada) with 190 people on board, completed a seemingly uneventful flight with a safe landing on Montreal's runway 24R.

The Canadian TSB reported however that a post flight inspection revealed substantial damage to the leading edge of the left hand wing, maintenance notified the tower, a runway inspection did not find any debris. Maintenance needed to replace the #2 slat to repair the damage, that had been caused by a bird strike. It was not possible to determine in which phase of the flight the bird strike occurred.
