An Iceland Air Boeing 757-200, registration TF-ISR performing flight FI-670 from Denver,CO (USA) to Keflavik (Iceland), was enroute at FL350 about 480nm west of Minneapolis,MN (USA) when the crew initiated a rapid descent to 15000 feet due to problems with the cabin pressure and set course to divert to Minneapolis. The aircraft subsequently climbed to FL190 and landed safely on Minneapolis's runway 12R about 90 minutes after leaving FL350.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto the next day's flights.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for almost 5 days then positioned to Keflavik and resumed service.
