A Transavia Boeing 737-800, registration PH-HZX performing flight HV-5681 from Rotterdam (Netherlands) to Ibiza,SP (Spain), was climbing out of Rotterdam's runway 06 when the crew reported they had a bird strike into one of their engines (CFM56), no priority or emergency was declared. The crew requested a runway inspection for rubber (tyre debris). ATC subsequently reported only feathers were found on the runway, no rubber. The aircraft entered a hold at 7000 feet MSL while the crew communicated with dispatch and maintenance, subsequently the crew decided to divert to Amsterdam where the aircraft landed safely on runway 06 about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement 737-800 registration PH-HZV reached Ibiza with a delay of about 4:15 hours.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 21 hours after landing.
