A Helvetic Airlines Fokker 100, registration HB-JVF performing flight LX-1885 from Bucharest Otopeni (Romania) to Zurich (Switzerland) with 0 passengers and 5 crew, was climbing out of Otopeni Airport's runway 26R when the crew called "PAN PAN, PAN PAN, PAN PAN, Mayday Mayday Mayday" reporting they lost the right hand engine (Tay Mk650) and advised they were returning to the field immediately. The aircraft stopped the climb at FL100 and returned to Otopeni Airport for a safe landing on runway 26R 25 minutes after departure.

The aircraft was able to position back to Zurich in the evening of Apr 27th departing Bucharest about 46 hours after landing, but has not yet resumed service (standing Apr 28th 17:30Z).
