A Helvetic Embraer ERJ-190 on behalf of Swiss International Airlines, registration HB-JVN performing flight LX-1487 from Prague (Czech Republic) to Zurich (Switzerland) with 114 people on board, was enroute at FL340 about 190nm northeast of Zurich still in German Airspace when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft levelled off at FL100 about 6 minutes later (average rate of descent 4000 fpm) and continued to Zurich where the aircraft landed safely on runway 14 with emergency services on stand by and taxied to the apron.
