A United Airlines Boeing B757-200, registration N13138 at Boston-Logan International Airport (KBOS) encountered a small fire within the area of the APU, the auxiliary power unit, in the tail section of the aircraft. No passengers were on board and the flames were extinguished quickly. The aircraft was planned to head to San Francisco but the flight was cancelled. The aircraft has been removed from service.
