A First Air Avion de Transport Regional ATR-42-300, registration C-FIQU performing flight 7F-883 from Arctic Bay,NU to Iqaluit,NU (Canada) with 19 people on board, was enroute about 40nm north of Iqaluit when the crew received a low hydraulic pressure indication followed by a low quantity hydraulic indication. The crew requested emergency services on stand by for the landing and continued for a safe landing at Iqaluit.

The Canadian TSB reported an O-ring had been improperly installed. The O-ring was replaced.
