A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Avions de Transport Regional ATR-42-500, registration AP-BHI performing flight PK-605 from Islamabad to Gilgit (Pakistan), completed a seemingly uneventful flight with a landing in Gilgit and taxied to the apron.

A post flight examination revealed one bolt was missing from one of the main wheels. The bolt was subsequently recovered from Gilgit's runway.

Pakistan's CAA grounded the aircraft for further inspection and repairs. The return flight PK-606 was cancelled.
