An Azul Linhas Aereas Airbus A320-200N, registration PR-YRO performing flight AD-4950 from Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP to Recife,PE (Brazil) with 79 passengers and 6 crew, was descending towards Recife when the crew received an aft cargo smoke indication and discharged the fire suppression system. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Recife's runway 18 about 12 minutes later.

Brazil's CENIPA reported the indication was determined false.
