A SAA South African Airways Airbus A319-100, registration ZS-SFK performing flight SA-143 from Maputo (Mozambique) to Johannesburg (South Africa), departed Maputo's runway 05 and landed on Johannesburg's runway 03R.

A post flight inspection revealed a bird had struck the underside of the nose radome causing damage to the radome. The aircraft is still on the ground in Johannesburg about 11 hours after landing.
