A Lufthansa Airbus A380-800, registration D-AIMK performing flight LH-760 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Delhi (India) with 246 people on board, was enroute at FL390 about 140nm northwest of Tehran (Iran) when the crew decided to return to Frankfurt due to a hydraulic fault. The aircraft descended to FL380 and landed safely back in Frankfurt about 4:15 hours later.

The airline reported the aircraft returned due to a technical issue, subsequently confirmed a hydraulic defect.
