A United Boeing 737-900, registration N36444 performing flight UA-1192 from Denver,CO to Houston Intercontinental,TX (USA), was climbing out of Denver's runway 08 when the crew stopped the climb at FL190 reporting the failure of the left hand engine (CFM56). The aircraft returned to Denver for a safe landing on runway 34R about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-900 registration N69840 reached Houston with a delay of about 4 hours.
