A Westjet Boeing 737-800, registration C-FBWI performing flight WS-1511 from Los Angeles,CA (USA) to Calgary,AB (Canada) with 163 people on board, was on final approach to Calgary's runway 35R when the crew received an aural windshear alert and went around. The crew positioned for another approach to runway 35R but again received an aural windshear alert and went around. The crew consulted with dispatch and decided to divert to Lethbridge,AB (Canada). As the estimate was to arrive in Lethbridge with less than 3000 lbs of fuel remaining, the crew declared emergency. The aircraft landed safely in Lethbridge about 30 minutes after the second go around in Calgary.

The Canadian TSB reported the aircraft landed in Lethbridge with 3000lbs of fuel remaining.
