A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-300, registration C-GETA performing flight QK-8964 from Mont-Joli,QC to Baie-Comeau,QC (Canada) with 18 passengers and 3 crew, was on approach to Baie-Comeau's runway 10, which was half closed due to reconstruction work, the part south of the runway center line was closed. The aircraft aligned with the runway center line and touched down, then the crew realized the right main gear was on the closed runway and steered the aircraft to the left. The inboard right main wheel collided with a temporary runway edge light, damaged the light and was punctured. The aircraft aligned on the left half of the runway and rolled out without further incident.

The Canadian TSB reported there had been no runway closed marks on the southern part of the runway. The TSB opened a class 4 (limited scope) investigation into the occurrence.
