A Swift Air Boeing 737-800 on behalf of Smartwings, registration N276EA performing flight QS-1400 from Brno (Czech Republic) to Heraklion (Greece), landed on Heraklion's runway 27 at 17:54L (14:54Z) but struck its tail onto the runway. The aircraft rolled out without further incident and taxied to the apron. There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained substantial damage however.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 104 hours after landing.
