An Air India Airbus A320-200, registration VT-ESL performing flight AI-662 from Goa to Mumbai (India) with 143 passengers, was descending towards Mumbai when the crew reported a hydraulic failure. The aircaft continued for a safe landing on Mumbai's main runway and was disabled on the runway. The aircraft needed to be towed to the apron.

The runway was closed for about one hour as result.

The airline reported the aircraft performed an emergency landing due to a hydraulic failure.
