An Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 777-300, registration ET-APX performing flight ET-501 from Washington Dulles,DC (USA) to Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), was climbing out of Dulles' runway 30 when the crew advised they had a hydraulic system failure and needed to return to Washington. The aircraft dumped fuel and landed on Dulles' runway 01C about one hour after departure.
