A Swiftair Boeing 737-400 on behalf of EAT Leipzig, registration EC-MNM performing freight flight QY-7121 from Milan Malpensa (Italy) to Brussels (Belgium), was enroute at FL320 about 30nm southsouthwest of Zurich (Switzerland) when the crew donned their oxygen masks, declared PAN and advised they were performing an emergency descent due to a cabin altitude warning. The crew decided to continue to Brussels at FL100 and landed safely in Brussels about one hour after leaving FL320.

The aircraft attempted to depart for the return flight QY-7120 about 3.5 hours after landing in Brussels, but stopped the climb at FL250 and returned to Brussels. The aircraft subsequently returned to service about 21 hours after first landing in Brussels.
