A Yakutia Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-300, registration VQ-BVH performing flight R3-402 from Cherskiy to Yakutsk (Russia) with 27 passengers and 3 crew, was enroute about 190nm out of Yakutsk when the crew received indication of dropping left hand engine (PW123) oil pressure and decided to shut the engine down. The aircraft continued to Yakutsk for a safe landing.

Russia's Rosaviatsia opened an investigation into the occurrence.
