Jazz DH8C at Edmonton on Apr 16th 2012, right main gear did not want to extend

A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-300, registration C-GEWQ performing flight QK-8364 from Grande Prairie,AB to Edmonton,AB (Canada) with 27 people on board, was on approach to Edmonton's runway 12 when the crew selected the gear down, the right main gear did not extend however. The crew attempted an alternate gear extension which also was not able to lower the right main gear. The crew subsequently selected the gear up and down, which resulted in all gear extending and reaching locked position. The aircraft landed safely in Edmonton with emergency services on stand by.

The Canadian TSB reported the right main gear uplock actuator was slightly out of center, its position was reset and the actuator was replaced.
