An American Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration N145AN performing flight AA-2263 from New York La Guardia,NY (USA) to Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA), departed La Guardia's runway 13, climbed to FL260 maintaining FL260 until top of descent into Dallas and landed on Dallas' runway 17C about 2:45 hours later.

The FAA reported the aircraft received minor damage due to a bird strike enroute.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 9 hours, then returned to service.
