A Smartwings Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration OK-SWN performing flight QS-1213 from Tenerife South,CI (Spain) to Prague (Czech Republic), was enroute at FL380 about 140nm westsouthwest of Valencia,SP (Spain) when the crew decided to divert to Valencia due to a warning for the right hand engine (LEAP) anti-ice activating. The aircraft landed safely on Valencia's runway 30.

Czechia's UZPLN reported the crew noticed the warning for the right hand engine anti-ice after takeoff from Tenerife, worked the related checklists, the warning however continued, the crew consulted with dispatch and maintenance and due to the adverse weather situation in Prague decided to divert to Valencia. Maintenance identified a fault in the PRSOV (Pressure Regulator and Shut Off Valve and applied the related procedures. The fault did not re-occur and the aircraft was returned to service.

The aircraft had departed Tenerife with a delay of about 2 hours, remained on the ground in Valencia for about 2.5 hours, then continued the journey and reached Prague with a delay of about 4.5 hours.
