A Fedex Federal Express Boeing 767-300, registration N102FE performing freight flight FX-1263 from Atlanta,GA to Memphis,TN (USA), was on approach to Memphis' runway 36R when the crew reported they were going around due to a gear light. The aircraft climbed to 4000 feet and entered a hold while working the checklists. While in the hold the crew requested runway 36C and just before leaving the hold to commence the approach the crew advised they thought, it was just the light not working. The aircraft landed safely on runway 36C about 25 minutes after going around.

The occurrence aircraft resumed service 15.5 hours after landing.
