An American Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N933AN performing flight AA-2479 from Orlando,FL to Washington National,DC (USA), was landing on Ronald Reagan Airport's runway 01 when a bird impacted the aircraft. The aircraft rolled out without further incident.

The FAA reported the aircraft sustained minor damage as result of a bird strike while landing at Washington National Airport.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 5.5 hours, then resumed service.
