A Korean Airlines Boeing 747-400 freighter, registration HL7605 performing flight KE-510 (dep Dec 4th) from Stockholm (Sweden) to Seoul (South Korea), was enroute at FL330 about 80nm east of St. Petersburg (Russia) when the crew needed to shut the #2 engine (PW4056, inboard left hand) down. The aircraft drifted down to FL250 and set course to divert to Amsterdam (Netherlands), where the aircraft landed safely about 4.5 hours after turning around.

The flight had originated in Amsterdam scheduled to fly to Seoul via Stockholm.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground more than 5 days later.
