An Aegean Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration SX-DVZ performing flight A3-610 from Athens (Greece) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), stopped the climb out of Athens' runway 03R at 8000 feet reported problems with the gear. The aircraft entered a hold for about 45 minutes, then positioned for a return to Athens and landed safely on runway 03L about one hour after departure.

A replacement A321-200 registration SX-DGT reached Paris with a delay of 2 hours.

The occurrence aircraft was able to resume service after about 3.5 hours on the ground.
