Passengers reported they returned to Miami due to a weird smell on board and were received by emergency services. A replacement aircraft was ready for departure but had to be delayed due to wrong catering being brought to the aircraft.
A replacement Boeing 777-200 registration N795AN reached London with a delay of 11.5 hours.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Miami about 42 hours after landing back.
