An Austrian Airlines Boeing 767-300, registration OE-LAT performing flight OS-64 from Beijing (China) to Vienna (Austria), was enroute at FL360 about 130nm northnortheast of Moscow's Domodedovo Airport when the crew decided to divert to Moscow due to a waste tank indication, that rendered the aircraft lavatories unusable. The aircraft landed safely on Domodedovo's runway 32R about 30 minutes later.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 105 minutes, then continued the journey and reached Vienna with a delay of 85 minutes.

The airline reported the crew received a waste tank indication which most likely was false. During the 50 minutes on the ground the waste tanks were serviced and the aircraft could continue the flight.
