The airline confirmed the tail of the aircraft contacted the runway surface on landing in London.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Heathrow on Oct 2nd 2026.
On Oct 2nd 2026 the AAIB reported the occurrence was rated an accident. The aircraft suffered rear fuselage contact during landing and received substantial damage.
