A Vietnam Airlines Airbus A330-200, registration VN-A378 performing flight VN-1142 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi (Vietnam) with 299 people on board, was landing on Hanoi's runway 11R but veered off the side of the runway during the roll out at about 17:50L (10:50Z). No injuries occurred.

The aircraft was able to resume service the following day.
