A replacement A320-200 registration VQ-BNR reached Nizhnevartovsk with a delay of 9.5 hours.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 23 hours after the rejected takeoff.
The status of Crimea and Simferopol is disputed. According to international law and United Nations the Crimea belong to the Ukraine although Russia annexed Crimea in 2014.
