A Yamal Airlines Sukhoi Superjet 100-95, registration RA-89081 performing flight YC-811 from Tyumen to Saint Petersburg (Russia) with 83 people on board, was climbing out of Tyumen's runway 01R when the left hand engine (SaM146) ingested a bird prompting the crew to stop the climb at 3,000 feet, burn off fuel and return to Tyumen for a safe landing on runway 30 about 75 minutes after departure.

A replacement SU95 registration RA-89070 reached Saint Petersburg with a delay of about 3 hours.
