An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZAI performing flight U2-5385 from London Gatwick,EN (UK) to Munich (Germany), was climbing out of Gatwick's runway 26L when the crew suspected a bird might have impacted the aircrft. In the absence of any abnormal indications the crew continued the flight to Munich for a safe landing on runway 26R and taxied to the apron.

The aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight U2-5386, the flight was cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 18 hours, then positioned as flight U2-9007 to London Gatwick and resumed service.
