An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZAI performing flight U2-4566 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Berlin Schoenefeld (Germany), was climbing out of Amsterdam's runway 36L when the crew requested to stop the climb at FL060. The crew subsequently reported an engine problem and returned to Amsterdam for a safe landing on runway 36R about 20 minutes after departure.

A replacement Airbus A319-100 registration G-EZFB reached Berlin with a delay of 5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft positioned to Berlin Schoenefeld as flight U2-9010 about 28 hours after landing but has not yet resumed service.
