A Khors Air Airbus A320-200, registration UR-CNK performing flight X9-4401 from Kharkov (Ukraine) to Tehran Mehrabad (Iran), was climbing out of Kharkov's runway 07 when the crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet due to a generator failure and returned to Kharkov for a safe landing on runway 07 about 15 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 17.5 hours, then departed the following day again and reached Tehran with a delay of about 18 hours.

Ukraine's NBAAI reported the aircraft vacated the runway on its own, no investigation was opened into the occurrence.
