An Airlinair Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration F-HAPL performing flight A5-4507 from Milan Malpensa (Italy) to Lyon (France) with 64 passengers and 4 crew, was just levelling off at cruise level FL200 when the crew received an ITT (InterTurbine Temperature) Overtemperature indication, reduced the engine power, declared PAN and returned to Milan for a safe landing about 45 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

The aircraft is still on the ground at Malpensa Airport 52 hours after landing back.
