A Niki Airbus A320-200, registration OE-LEX performing flight HG-3366 from Innsbruck (Austria) to Menorca,SP (Spain), landed on Menorca's runway 19R but suffered a bird strike on its nose resulting in a reshape of the nose. The aircraft rolled out without further incident.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Menorca for about 24 hours, then departed Menorca for a positioning flight back to Austria.

A replacement Air Berlin Boeing 737-700 registration D-AHXE positioned from Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain) to Menorca to complete the last sector of flight HG-3366 from Menorca to Palma Mallorca reaching the final destination with a delay of 6.5 hours.
