A Republic Airlines Embraer ERJ-175 on behalf of United, registration N736YX performing flight UA-3358 from Newark,NJ to Buffalo,NY (USA), was cleared to climb to FL330 when the crew stopped the climb at FL260 due to problems with the cabin pressure and initiated an emergency descent to 10,000 feet. The aircraft continued to Buffalo for a safe landing on runway 23 with emergency services on stand by about 45 minutes after descending from FL260.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Buffalo for about 3 hours, then performed the return flight UA-3351 reaching a maximum cruise level 250 and landing in Newark with a delay of 2 hours.
