A Republic Airlines Embraer ERJ-175 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N229JQ performing flight DL-5807 from Boston,MA to New York La Guardia,NY (USA) with 80 people on board, was on final approach to La Guardia's runway 22 when the aircraft went around from about 1000 feet advising tower, they needed to run a checklist. The aircraft climbed to 4000 feet, the crew now advised they were running a hydraulic checklist. The crew subsequently advised they needed to divert to JFK Airport due to the failure of their hydraulic system #2 increasing their stopping distance, they would have no reversers and they would not get their braking efficiency they would normally get, the crew subsequently declared emergency. The aircraft landed on JFK's runway 31 about 45 minutes after the go-around.

The aircraft returned to service about 63 hours after landing.
