The aircraft however was unable to depart for the return flight due to ingestion of large amounts of sand and gravel into both engines (CFM56).
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration A6-FDZ was dispatched to Hail as flight FZ-8885 carrying a maintenance team and spares and is estimated to perform the return flight FZ-886 early May 6th.
