A Flydubai Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration A6-FKH performing flight FZ-17 from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Doha (Qatar), was climbing out of Dubai's runway 30L when the crew stopped the climb at 9000 feet and decided to return to Dubai due to being unable to fully retract the landing gear. The aircraft landed safely on Dubai's runway 30L about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-8 MAX registration A6-FKB reached Doha with a delay of about 3:50 hours.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 18 hours after landing back.
