A Westjet Boeing 737-700, registration C-FUWS performing flight WS-1233 from Fort Lauderdale,FL (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 105 people on board, was enroute at FL390 when the first officer became incapacitated and needed to be removed from the flight deck. The crew contacted Medlink for assistance, the captain advised ATC and continued the flight to Toronto, where the aircraft landed safely about 2 hours later.

The Canadian TSB reported the first officer became incapacitated shortly after departure from Fort Lauderdale and was removed from the flight deck. The crew subsequently contacted Medlink for medical assistance. The captain advised ATC, performed the incapacitated pilot procedures and continued the flight to Toronto.
