The aircraft was towed off the runway about an hour later.
The airline reported the crew safely rejected takeoff, the crew declared an emergency. The passengers are being re-accommodated.
On Jul 13th 2026 the Canadian TSB reported: "During the takeoff roll on Runway 08 at KDEN, the flight crew experienced vibrations and aircraft yawing, heard a loud band, and observed pieces of rubber flying outside the aircraft. They subsequently initiated a rejected takeoff and came to a stop on the runway. Aircraft rescue and firefighting met the aircraft and identified that the number 1 and 2 main landing gear tires had burst. Smoke was observed around the tire area but was under control. Passengers were deplaned and there were no reported injuries. Aircraft was returned to service after all required inspections and repairs had been completed. Damage to aircraft included number 1 and 2 main wheel tires burst, left-hand wing and flap assemblies, main landing gear and doors, hydraulic lines and System A, body and canoe fairings, horizontal stabilizer, sensors and wiring, wing fixed panels, brackets and side strut."
