A Swiss Avro RJ-100, registration HB-IYY performing flight LX-2813 from Geneva to Zurich (Switzerland), was accelerating for takeoff from runway 05 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed and slowed the aircraft safely vacating the runway about 1600 meters/5250 feet down the runway advising no assistance was needed. The aircraft returned to the apron.

The flight was cancelled.

A passenger reported the crew announced hydraulic problems.

The occurrence aircraft resumed service about 20 hours after rejecting takeoff.
