On Jan 19th 2016 the Canadian TSB reported that the crew had illuminated the fasten seat belt signs about 15 minutes prior to the first onset of turbulence, the turbulence area had been forecast in a SIGMET and was anticipated by the crew. The flight attendant received a minor injury. The crew filed a pilot report with ATC and consulted with dispatch reporting the occurrence. The TSB added, that AC-16 was about 90 minutes ahead of AC-88 suffering more serious injuries, see Accident: Canada B773 near Calgary on Dec 30th 2015, turbulence injures 21.
