An Air Canada Boeing 777-200, registration C-FNNH performing flight AC-34 from Vancouver,BC to Toronto,ON (Canada), was on approach to Toronto's runway 05 when approach handed the aircraft off to tower. The crew however remained on the approach frequency and continued for a safe landing on runway 05.

The Canadian TSB reported the aircraft landed without receiving a landing clearance when the crew did not change frequency.
