A Rossiya Antonov AN-148, registration RA-61705 performing flight FV-451 (dep Jul 13th) from St. Petersburg to Tyumen (Russia) with 74 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute about 290nm eastsoutheast of St. Petersburg when the crew reported they had shut the right hand engine down and decided to return to St. Petersburg for a safe landing on runway 28R about 130 minutes after departure.

A replacement Airbus A319-100 registration VQ-BAT departed St. Petersburg about 110 minutes after landing and reached Tyumen with a delay of 4 hours.

Rosaviatsia reported that the crew received an engine oil chip detector indication for the right hand engine, however did not shut the engine down.
