A Swiss International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration HB-IJF performing flight LX-1200 from Zurich (Switzerland) to Helsinki (Finland), was enroute at FL390 about 30nm northeast of Munich (Germany) when the crew decided to return to Zurich reporting a possible problem with one of the brakes. On Zurich approach, runway 14 assigned, the crew advised they would be using full reverse as one of the brakes might not be working. Zurich Arrival offered runway 16 for landing due to the brakes problem, the crew accepted stating 16 was the preferred runway. The aircraft landed safely on runway 16 without problems and taxied to the apron.

The rotation LX-1200/LX-1201 was cancelled, the passenges were rebooked onto other flights.
