An Envoy Air Embraer ERJ-145, registration N652RS performing flight MQ-3047/AA-3047 from Sioux Falls,SD to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA) with 50 passengers and 3 crew, was climbing out of Sioux Falls' runway 21 when the crew declared emergency reporting they had lost their left hand engine (Ae3007). The aircraft levelled off at 3000 feet and returned to Sioux Falls for a safe landing on runway 21 about 10 minutes after departure and taxied to the apron.

A replacement ERJ-140 registration N809AE reached Chicago with a delay of 4.5 hours.
